My Ideas.

One idea, is to do some of my photos in black and white, with different contrasts. This could add a different look to the images and enhance them. I also wan to use a film camera and print them in black and white, so it will give them a retro look - which if using retro fashion or props will compliment it greatly.

To experiment with different eras - such as the 1970's. This fascinates me because of the fashion and accessories. I would use different camera angles and change the lighting to create shaddows, and different effects on the model.

Another era which I would love to recreate is the 60's. This is becuase the fashion was so bold and fun, however yet so simple. I feel I could work with this and make it an advantage. I could make this my own style by the way I compose the image - the pose of the model and the camera angle, ECT.

Experiment with different models. Males, females, plastic dolls. Also to try out different ages and find out what works best. This will give me a range and something unique. Persoanlly I feel there is a complete difference between male models and female models.

To test different camera angles, to see what reflections mirrors give off. I can create my own personal style. There are some difficulties with doing this - and these are; not getting myself in the mirror as I take the picture. Also I wouldnt be able to use a direct flash, because the light would reflect of the mirror and there would be a great deal of glare. This would ruin the image as you wouldn't be able to see much detail.

To use different props. I could combine this with the mirror idea - and use the mirror as a prop. This could also be combined with the use of different eras and how I would portray them. Or it could be used in its own right, to make and create a photo, in its own unique sense.

Edit my images in different ways, to see what works and what doesn't. From simple black and white, to choosing a block colour and just picking that one out. I would also airbrush my models and whiten their eyes and teeth to make them look flawless. I will be doing this in Photoshop CS5.1.

To use a fast shutter speedand a model who can jump in different ways - to capture a jumping shot. The only problem with this would be getting the correct shutter speed. If it's too slow it would make the image blurry and if it was to be too quick, I would be able to capture the model in the correct position and they might of not even left the ground when it goes off. This would not classify the picture as a jumping shot.
